JEZEBEL
(2021)
STORY
Jezebel unfolds as a psychological thriller about an enigmatic woman who wakes in the back seat of a car — surrounded by uncertainty and her own conflicting instincts. The vehicle becomes a metaphor for power, control, and desire as dominance and submission blur.
Trapped between fear and agency, she ultimately takes the wheel — steering her own destiny. Suspense and intimacy collide in this meditation on freedom, self-possession, and the thin line between surrender and control.
PROJECT
Produced and directed by Marta Lillioja, Jezebel was developed as a hybrid dance film exploring power, desire, and control through movement and cinematic form. The film was shaped through a series of intensive rehearsals with performer Isabelle Nelson, whose physical performance became the foundation for its psychological rhythm.
Fever Hunt oversaw the full creative process — from concept and casting to direction, cinematography, and post-production — crafting an immersive visual language that bridges performance and psychological tension.
